Responsibilities: Technical researcher/author on water issues.
Achievements: Author of sustainability household water issues around water demand management, rainwater tanks, water efficiency policy and regulations, integrated water management design criteria, and water health, infrastructure and maintenance.
Beacon Pathway Ltd was established in May 2004 with funding from FRST and shareholders matched funding (Fletcher Building, Waitakere City Council, Scion, Building Research and NZ Steel) to find affordable, attractive ways to make New Zealand homes more sustainable. Research was focussed in the areas of policy and regulation, neighbourhoods, technology and market transformation in the management of indoor air quality, energy, waste and water.
